How many layers of carpet are needed per foot of target? I'm trying to estimate how much carpet I need. Thank you.

Does anyone remember when the Matthews LX came out It’s been so long I can’t remember if it was a solocam it was the last Matthews I had Kept it for maybe 6 years I spent a couple of years without a bow then bought a Bear bow and was disappointed in it a few years later I now bought a phase 4 couldn’t wait for the lifts to come out but I’m amazed at the difference It is really smooth and quiet I have already Robin Hooded one Pure luck really I think Matthews is the top of the market

I’m not here to Down grade your feeder but we have been useing these barrels for 30 plus yrs! Why bother with the pvc pipe? We cut a 3 inch hole on the very front edge bottom so corn will gravity out as it is pulled back. There is usualy about a qaurt of corn in front of hole on level ground. In Michigan Bears will tip it over so we put 3” long half inch lag bolt with 2” square washer so Bear can’t dump it! Bear or coon or Squarel not going the chew these barrels up! We feed bear in these barrels also an they put teeth marks but can’t destroy them. Hogs I’m sure may be differant?

That's all I use I also have the 2 claws that hook onto the limbs with a eBay adjustable single end bow Vice have never needed anything else. But you have a cool idea all the same. Elite enkore. Fuck just realised that this is 10 years old you are probably dead by now.

Had the bow set up at a pro shop. It performed just fine ruclips.net/user/postUgkxQEKUoxLWwayEDZR0NKB-5limn4MBU-2L . And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older. But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

Im a new hunter and I know that but good advice for people who don’t know this type of stuff my effective range is 56 yards I’m still working on longer ranges but I’m obviously not shooting at a deer at 56 yards. If it wore a big old buck then ya I would take the shot but for a doe I would just wait till she gets in at 30 or 40 yards. For a big old buck if I new I could have taken a shoot at the buck at 56 to 57 yards and I didn’t take it I would be very sad because for this deer season im going for trophy’s for squirrels deer and turkey. acutely my birthday was on turkey season not opening day but it’s still on my birthday so that’s supper cool.

You should actually use a bow that’s specific for bowfishing because they have significantly deeper cam grooves to keep your string from derailing due to excessive drawing at lower poundage with fingers

I just finished making target from the old carpet that I found on somebody's driveway. I cut it to the long stripes 8 inches wide, then rolled in one big roll (with 1*1 inch piece of wood in a center) and tightened with ratchet straps. I had those straps for many years, and never used them. Otherwise maybe it's not wise to buy straps for such purpose, cause they might get destroyed. Total diameter is about 18 inches. Stops arrows good.

The hand buzz can be taken out with a vibration absorber on the lower riser in the top hole of the lower riser and a 4 inch stabilizer in the lower hole with a total weight of around 2-4 Oz,depending on front stabilizer weight, will bring the bow into perfect ballance. I don't have any vibration control or stabilizer on my impulse34 and it is still the best shooting bow I have ever shot.

Nice. I used your design but put a bottom in and made a horizontal dato cut along each end on the inside and added a slide in lid so basically the bottom becomes the storage for all the tools used when the bow holder isnt being used... great easy and simple project man, appreciate it...😉

i killed one big 9pt buck with a wasp jak hammer years ago. the blades are on a ring, the ring stretched out and broke the bottom of the aluminum ferrule out. thats a failure to me. it was at last light of an evening hunt, so i drove home and came back at dawn the next morning. i did find the deer, but unfortunately the coyotes found him first.
